About Rebecca (continued) –
Rebecca Hatsumi Haynes, M.F.A. combines her expertise in visual arts, informatics, and arts leadership to empower others to share their stories in meaningful ways. She holds a B.A. in Visual Art with a minor in Informatics and an M.F.A. in Arts Leadership from Seattle University. Rebecca's studies emphasized people-centered approaches to research, design, and management, exploring how visual storytelling bridges cultures and fosters creative expression.
 
At MEMconsultants, Rebecca specializes in evaluating museum visitor experiences, conducting gallery observations and intercept interviews to provide actionable insights for cultural institutions. She also supports survey data analysis and reporting for programs serving youth and families, ensuring diverse voices inform organizational decision-making.
 
Rebecca's experience includes internships with the Seattle Art Museum's Development Team, Urban Artworks, and the National Film Festival for Talented Youth. She also served as a teaching assistant in Chiba, Japan, enhancing her cross-cultural communication skills. Outside of work, Rebecca is a practicing visual artist, using her craft to inspire connection within her community.
